Whats the best guide book for editing digital portraits on photoshop 7. I am new to photo editing?
Q. I have brought Photoshop 7 for dummies and couldn't really see anything in it about editing people, skin tones and airbrushing. I would be very gratefull if you could guide me in the right direction for a guide book to help me on this matter?

Is it illegal to produce and self-publish a guide book to a television show?
Q. I am wondering whether or not it is illegal to self publish an unauthorised guide book to a 60s television show or would copyright need to be sought? The guide would feature mainly new information rather than just copying previously written episode summeries etc.

A. You should check the law, a sixties show's copyright may have expired, in the same way that anyone can make and sell Elvis records legally. Besides that, if you contact the producers of the programmme they may be happy to give you permission. They might ask to be shown it before you publish it. Not only this but they may be helpful and provide you with interviews and other material that you wouldn't be able to get elsewhere. There's no harm in asking.

I was wondering if the guide book is really necessary or if you could pretty much follow through the game without it (or with a little help from the internet). A. The game is fairly easy and the story is pretty much self explanatory. If you find yourself hung up or what make sure you don't miss out on any items in the game I would consult gamefaq.com for a game guide (just search for the game under PSP). No one really uses guide books anymore so I would suggest saving the money and hitting up gamefaq when you're in a jam. I've beaten the game without a guide or gamefaq. It wasn't a very long game nor was it that difficult on the normal setting.

A. The only real way to become a good welder is practice. Ask some one who welds to offer you some pointers, or even show you a thing or two. Books are okay for general info, but only doing it over and over will make you good. Use some scrap metal and go to town on it.

Almost a year back, i used to get sales e-mail from a magazine or book for about $100, where the writer will tell you about the ways to improve ur personality. something like body posture, tone of voice, how to pose and wardrobe essentials etc. it was a book that came with some CD's. Thw writer siad she learnt all that after staying close to successfull women in hollywood. Do u know which book/guide/magazine it is?
