From Wiktionary under the GNU Free Documentation License. A guide book is a book for tourists or travelers that provides details about a geographic location, tourist destination, or itinerary. It is the written equivalent of a tour guide. It will usually include details, such as phone numbers, addresses, prices, and reviews of hotels and other lodgings, restaurants, and activities. Maps of varying detail are often included. Sometimes historical and cultural information is also provided. Different guide books may focus on different aspects of travel, from adventure travel to relaxation, or be aimed at travellers with larger or smaller travel budgets, or focus on the particular interests and concerns of certain groups, such as lesbian and gay singles or couples. Guide books are generally intended to be used in conjunction with actual travel, although simply enjoying a guide book with no intention of visiting may be referred to as "armchair tourism". Can anyone layout the routine schedule and possibly some tips? I like working out, I have to workout, and I like variety in my workout. Please do not respond with "miracle" fad diets. Asked by anonymous - Wed Jan 14 23:37:12 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. Chalean Extreme is excellent! I am in Week 3 and LOVE it! The routine is broken into 3 phases. The Burn Phase, Push Phase and Lean Phase. There is also a phase 4 that is the Lean for life Phase and gives yo ideas on how to keep it up after day 90 and beyond! The Books and other tools are really very helpful and I would say necessary. Especially the Eating Plan. If you do not have them I would really suggest trying to find them. Some tips are to use HEAVY weights and Push yourself. Be sure to maximize each workout! They are short so really go at it and you will see great results! I am down 11 pounds in just over 3 weeks! Q. And also, a electronic translator to translate from English to Japanese and back the other way. thanks Asked by Rawkus - Thu Sep 20 09:27:36 2007 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments A. When I traveled to Japan I used the Lonely Planet book. It was very good and helpful and had some great suggestions. They also include some key phrases to know in Japanese in the back of the book. As for the electronic translator - check out this site: It is quite pricy, but if you really want one and need one before you go, then it might be worthwhile to check it out. These are pretty good electronic dictionaries/translators. On the otherhand, if you can wait until you arrive in Japan, you can find these kinds of translators for more than half the price! and I can almost 99% guarantee you that they are probably better! Have a safe trip! Answered by opangster - Thu Sep 20 09:36:14 2007 From Yahoo Answer Search: "guidebook" |
