What was the big deal with the reviews of Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 2 on PC at Amazon which?
Q. There were about 170 reviews of the new Call of Duty game on Amazon but they all got pulled. What was the reason for pulling the reviews, and do you know of any other time when a product has all it's reviews pulled?

A. Probably negative reviews because IW have crippled the multiplayer elements of the PC version of MW2 making it P2P rather than the more traditional dedicated server set up of most online PC games. They have also removed the mod tools and reduced the player numbers because of this. And they are charging 10 more than most PC games. It has happened a number of times in the past, with Spore for example when gamers used it as a protest about the crippling DRM in that game. See here for an article on that -

do reviews good reviews influence you to buy things on the internet?
Q. For me it depends on what type of item im buying. If its a video game or a movie then i wont care about the rating because thats opinion. But stuff like tv's and other electronics matter on the reviews part. When theres only one product to buy i just buy it if i need it.

Q. Epinions only has a couple models. Cunsumer Reports doesn't have reviews from actual people who have the products, Any suggestions. I needs all new appliances and they are sooo expensive this year and have short 1 year warrantees. Consumer Reports lists one as being top - when I looked it up it has the worst reviews ever on Epinions. The IRS recognizes that start-ups may take a few years to start turning a profit but if you are continuously showing a loss the IRS will probably rule that your business is really a hobby and limit your expenses to whatever income you made. Second, if you sell the items after the testing and evaluation you must claim the sales price as income. This has the effect of limiting your deduction to the difference between the purchase and sale price.

What we loved about our agency so much was how much they had the best interest of the children in mind and how well they counseled the birthparents before, during, and after placement. Our needs as an adoptive couple were third on the list of priorities. Try looking through your local yellow pages for an agency near you and set up a meeting with them. Meeting face-to-face is the best way to determine if an agency is ethical or not.
